Wheek Care depends on the assistance of foster families to help with influx of surrenders, guinea pigs with minor medical needs, pigs who need extra socialization to become adoptable, or pigs who need a break from their usual environment in the rescue. Wheek Care will supply a cage for fosters, water bottle, and any medication that may be required if a pig is under treatment. Foster families will need to supply hay, bedding, and vegetables. Wheek Care asks that any interested fosters be able to commit at least 1.5 months of fostering before applying.
